EMBASSY OF CANADA
SFMM worked with Norr Limited Architects and Engineers to design the new Canadian Chancery in Ankara.
The building was situated on a steep hill in the city, with a 9-meter grade difference from front to back. The rocky site was excavated, and the building was set into the remaining rock outcropping. Multiple entrances for consular and immigration functions were accommodated at different floors to adjust to the changing slope conditions. The building comprises an administrative tower and a low-rise pavilion, connected by a multi-storey space featuring a grand stair.
